Padiglione Italia is an artistic investigation that comes from the need to cross and explore unresolved lands and places of contemporary Italy, reflecting on the perception we have of these and routes we choose. Photography and walking, as an artistic medium and revolutionary to change perspective, become necessary to increase our ability to perceive the landscape and be able to document its identity through the sedimentation of traces.

 

A nomadic research who does not create captions on issues observed, but makes it even more complex, and helps us to set up doubts and questions well constructed on geography and on the territory. The walk becomes a mode for reading the landscape, photography allows us to tell the place crossed, the body becomes a tool capable to note the events of this journey and draw a new map, from a stable form to these routes.
